A gastro-hotel, not just a hotel
El Pescador is a family-run hotel with three room types, all exterior-facing, and the restaurant under the same roof. You sleep a kilometre from Cudillero harbour and have dinner without getting back in the car: that is the difference between staying here and staying anywhere else in the village.

Where we are and what is nearby
The hotel sits in Tolombredo de Arriba, on the hillside above Cudillero, a kilometre from the harbour. Far enough to sleep away from the noise of the centre, close enough to walk or drive down in a few minutes. You can see the house and the village on film before you come.

Getting here by car
We are a few minutes from the A-8 Cantabrian motorway. Oviedo is about 50 minutes away via the A-63 and the A-8; Asturias airport is around 20 minutes by car. There are also train (FEVE) and bus services to Cudillero. The hotel is up in Tolombredo, before the road drops down to the harbour.

We have a free outdoor car park for hotel guests. That matters in a village where parking near the harbour is difficult for most of the year.

Questions about staying in Cudillero
Is the hotel in the centre of Cudillero?
We are in Tolombredo de Arriba, on the hillside above Cudillero, a kilometre from the harbour and a few minutes from the A-8 motorway. Close enough to pop down to the village, far enough to sleep away from the noise around the harbour, which stays lively until late in summer.
Where to stay in Cudillero?
The village has small hotels, guesthouses and apartments. What sets us apart is that we are a gastro-hotel: hotel and seafood restaurant under one roof, with our own car park. You have dinner without getting back in the car and breakfast without stepping outside.
Are there hotels with sea views in Cudillero?
All our rooms are exterior-facing and the hotel sits high above the village. The outlook varies from room to room, so if you are after a particular view, tell us when you book and we will describe exactly what each one looks onto.
Is there parking at the hotel?
Yes. We have a free outdoor car park for hotel guests, with no booking and no supplement. That is a real advantage in Cudillero, where parking near the harbour is difficult for much of the year.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 16:00-22:00 and check-out until 12:00. If you are going to arrive later, give us a call and we will arrange it.
Is breakfast included?
It is not included in the rate. We serve an à la carte breakfast in the restaurant itself: you order at the table and choose what you feel like, rather than a fixed buffet.
Can I book without paying commission?
Yes. Booking on this site means dealing with the hotel directly: best price guaranteed, no agency commission, no handling fees and immediate confirmation. If you would rather talk it through, you can also book by phone.
Does the hotel have its own restaurant?
Yes, and it is why many guests choose us. The restaurant is in the same building and cooks the fish our own boat La Felisina lands each day. We serve lunch and dinner at these times: Monday to Saturday: 13:30 – 16:00 and 20:30 – 22:00 · Sunday: 13:30 – 16:00.
When is the best time to visit Cudillero?
Cudillero works all year round. Spring and summer are best for the beaches and coastal walking; autumn and winter have the most authentic fishing-village feel, far fewer people and the best shellfish season. July and August are the busiest months, so book well ahead.
What happens if I have to cancel?
The first night is charged when you book. The rest of the stay is paid on arrival, at check-in. If you have to cancel, that first night is what you lose: nothing else has been charged yet, so there is nothing further to settle.
Do you have cots and extra beds?
Yes, both on request and depending on the room. A cot is €15 per child per night, for babies up to one year old. An extra bed is €35 per person per night, at any age. Tell us when you book and we will confirm whether it fits in the room you have chosen: the family room is the one with space to spare.
